Issaquah police are investigating a reported stabbing, but indications are that the 911 call Oct. 21 was false.

At 6:08 p.m., a man called 911 and said he had been stabbed at Front Street Market, 80 Front St. S. Officers arrived within seconds, but were unable to find the caller or confirm the incident, said Cmdr. Stan Conrad.

“It looks right now like a false report,” he said.

Police are investigating it as such.
