Discovery

Maple Hills
A free parent education seminar for parents of kindergartners and first-graders, Love and Logic, is at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 29 in the library. Call 837-5130.
High schools
Issaquah
The cheer squad hosts a camp for children in preschool to fifth grade from 9-11:30 a.m. Nov. 1 in the gym. Cost is $40 and includes a short-sleeved shirt and a picture. Call 837-6015.
Liberty
A drama work party is at 9 a.m. Nov. 1 and 2 on the stage. Call 837-4800.

District
College visits
High school students have the opportunity to speak to college, university and trade school admissions officers from across the country in coming months. Check your school’s schedule for dates and times.
Scholarship
The state Auto Dealers Association would like to know what type of car high school seniors imagine driving in 2025. Four essays will earn scholarship money. Deadline is March 6. Get rules at www.wsada.org/scholarship.
