Road construction closes Challenger driveways

NEW — 5:25 p.m. November 5, 2008
The driveway to Challenger Elementary School, 25200 S.E. Klahanie Blvd., will close beginning at 6 a.m. Nov. 6 for emergency construction.
Construction crews will be laying a gas line down at the school to improve its heating and air systems. The construction is located on the right side of the school’s driveway and is expected to last the entire day. The construction will deny access to the parking lot and drop-off areas at the rear of the building.
School officials recommend students who are normally taken to school walk or arrange to be dropped off and picked up at the King County park directly west of the school.
