Area residents can get a free flu shot from 2-8 p.m. Thursday with a donation to the Issaquah Food Bank.

Bring three cans of nonperishable food to Overlake Medical Center’s Urgent Care Clinic at 6520 226th Place S.E., Suite 150, and get your shot for free. There’s no registration or appointment required.
Residents are asked to bring three cans of food for one flu shot; five cans of food for a family of two or more. For those who don’t provide canned food donations, flu shots will be available for $25.
“Getting a flu shot is an easy way to protect yourself and your family from illness this flu season,” Eric Shipley, doctor and medical director of the clinic, said. “We hope donating food to avoid the flu will make you feel good about your health and about helping your community.”
