Election results to be finalized November 25

The results of close races in the Nov. 4 election will not be known for certain until all absentee and provisional ballots have been counted. Results posted on the county’s Web site show only the tally of poll votes. King County Elections spokeswoman Bobbie Egan said Nov. 12 that 38,000 absentee ballots have yet to be counted and an unknown number of provisional ballots must be validated. Those figures may not be available until Nov. 21. The election will be certified Nov. 25.
