The Washington State Patrol is seeking help from the public in the investigation of a 28-year-old male from Cashmere who they say was impersonating a police officer.
Detectives want to talk with anyone who may have had contact with Andy Paul Hicks when he was impersonating a police officer. They are also looking for any witnesses who may have seen Hicks stopping vehicles in King and Pierce counties or identifying himself as a police officer during other situations.
Hicks was arrested Sept. 30 and is being held in the King County Jail on this charge and other outstanding warrants.
If you have any information or know someone who has, call Trooper Detective Sgt. Stacy Moate at 649-4370, ext, 146, or Detective Ruth Medeiros at 649-4370, ext, 119.
