Interested in learning more about tolling related to Highway 520?

The Issaquah community is invited to City Hall South, 135 E. Sunset Way, from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday to learn more about the process and proposed scenarios, as well as provide input. Representatives from the 520 Tolling Implementation Committee will be there to answer questions and collect feedback.

A more formal presentation will also be given to the Issaquah City Council during its Council-of-the-Whole meeting at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall South.

In March, the state Legislature named the committee, which is charged with:

4 Evaluating tolling for financing the 520 Bridge Replacement and HOV Project.

4 Engaging citizens and regional leadership in the evaluation.

4 Enhancing understanding of tolling alternatives and reporting to the governor and state Legislature in January.

Citizens can also give their opinions in a survey at http://build520.org/get_involved.htm until Nov. 30.
