Tim,

Thank you for your role in mentoring and encouraging Daniel while in Bolivia. As a father, I am grateful for the Peace Corps program. I pray the Bolivia projects are able to start up again.

Daniel's time there was transformational. When our family spent a week there, visiting Daniel, our eyes were also opened to one of the poorest places in our world.

Our experience worshiping theres was also rich. The church in Bolivia is remarkable! We pray often for peace and a just solution to the disparity between the conflicting parties.

I was Dan's Project Director and it hurts me so much to think that Dan did not have a chance to come back when the Volunteers were evacuated. I was really looking forward to continue working with him. I want to congratulate you on your article, and I think the third goal of Peace Corps is happening when Dan says “They have an image of all our military power, our wars and our aggression. I wanted to show them something else, another side of America.” He was the best Ambassador we could have, and that is why I believe so much in Peace Corps. I do hope Dan returns, much sooner than later because his heart is here and I doubt he will ever want to loose the special friends he has here. There is much more to the article when it comes to his experiences. I would suggest putting out a series of articles of what he did; you will be very impressed and proud of him as I am. He was the best.
