Lila Dineen

 Lila Marie Dineen, of Issaquah, died Nov. 23, 2008, at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue. She was 85.

A visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Flintoft’s Issaquah Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley.

Lila was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Entiat, Wash., the daughter of Joe and Hazel Butts. She was raised and graduated from high school in Entiat. She received her registered nurse degree from Deaconess Hospital in Wentachee. 

She married John T. Dineen in Seattle. The family moved to Issaquah in 1956. She worked for the Issaquah Medical Clinic for many years. Lila was director of nurses for Dr. Whitaker and the Issaquah Villa and Valley Villa in Renton. 

In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling, camping, cooking, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her loving husband John; two sons, John T. Dineen, of Snohomish, and Jeff Dineen, of Renton; daughter Jan Sieler, of Issaquah; brother Bernie Peter, of Entiat; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Flintoft’s Funeral Home and Crematory.
