there are 16 cities which now have streetcars of some type An additional 20 cities have light rail lines which have some street running.. There are 70 cities which are interested
in restoring them but the Bush Administration has refused to fund any of them despite specific legislation passed for that purpose. Presumably the Obama Administration will be more inclined to support streetcars. But with all of the bailouts having passed, the new Admnistration may have no money with which to support streetcars
Contact me if interested. 703-837-0030

A wise and fortunate move! A local trolley, on real tracks, and electrically propelled will be a real booster for your local economy and a grand attractor for your commercial interests, as well as a joy for all citizens. It's great to see a truly sensible and lasting improvement coming for the good of all. Good luck!

Thanks for all the great news coverage for the Historical Society Museums, activities, and the Issaquah Valley Trolley Project. The Press is a great asset to our residents in keeping everyone informed of what is happening in our fair City.
