Issaquah Alps Trail Club

Dec. 21, noon — Explore trail options on lower Squak & Tiger from downtown

Youth sports/activities 

Registration is open for spring 2009 Sammamish Little League Baseball for youths ages 5-12; softball for girls ages 5-14. Register at www.Sammamishlittleleague.org 

Spring 2009 Soccer — Save $20. Early bird registration ends Jan. 16. Ages 3-10. Begins March 2009. Seattle’s only program that combines professional instruction with competitive league play. Call 877-I-PLAY-i9 toll-free or go to www.i9sports.com.

Open Gym  — Tiny Tot makeups (this applies to Grasshopper and Dragonfly classes)

Preston Friday at 9:30 a.m.

 Third Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Parent-Tot classes — call for availability.  Makeups for kindergartners and older:

Saturday night open gym makeups are from 6:30-7:30 p.m. or 7:30-8:30 p.m. and only for first grade and up. 

Swim lessons at Julius Boehm Pool — Register online, at the pool or by phone at 837-3350 with a Visa or Mastercard, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Saturday from noon – 5 p.m. Class levels may be combined or canceled due to low enrollment and/or instructor availability.

Basketball coaches wanted — Issaquah Select Boys program grades six through eight. Paid positions. Call 206-628-2405.

12U Dragons baseball tryouts — The Dragons 12 and under baseball league is looking for competitive players. This is a premier elect team that will play in league and tournament play in 2009, in about 60 games. Holding tryouts in the near future. Call 206-409-5671.
