Waste Management and Allied Waste are now running regular routes. Delays will only occur where conditions don’t allow pickup.

Thursday customers this week, Jan. 1, will be delayed by one day due to the New Year’s holiday. Thursday customers will be picked up Friday and Friday customers will be picked up Saturday.

Waste Management customers only may drop off household garbage and recycling from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 31 at two cleared sites. Customers must provide a recent Waste Management bill to participate.

The locations are Issaquah City Hall Northwest, 1775 12th Ave. N.W., and the lower parking lot at Central Park, 1907 Park Drive N.E., in the Issaquah Highlands.

It’s been 3 weeks since Waste Management has been down my street. Do they intend to release a statement on how they will adjust billing because of the delays and hassles we have had in wind blowing garbage around our neighborhood?

I think I’ve thrown away most of my garbage 3-4 times due to snow and wind…THEY should pay for that.

Got something to say?
