IPD nabs violent robbers

Two Issaquah men have been charged with first-degree robbery for beating and tying up a cab driver they lured to a darkened area in the Overdale Park neighborhood in Issaquah early Oct. 2, according to charging documents from the King County Prosecutor’s Office.
Voters approve bond for fire station

Issaquah voters on Nov. 4 resoundingly approved a $4.5 million bond measure to build a new fire station on Maple Street Northwest at state Route 900. The vote was better than a 2-to-1 ratio in favor.
