No refunds for missed garbage collection

For Issaquah residents who have waited a month for garbage collection, you should know that you won’t be getting a refund on your utility bill.
Snow and the holidays played havoc with curbside collection in December. Trash started to pile up.
But the remedy offered by contractor Waste Management is to collect double or triple loads on the next scheduled collection day, and not to give customers their money back.
The same is true for Allied Waste, which collects garbage in the unincorporated neighborhood of Klahanie but not in Issaquah. Read more
