Earl Irving Tibbetts

 Earl Irving Tibbetts, of North Bend and formerly of Issaquah, died Dec 19, 2008, at the home of his son Richard Tibbetts, in Mill Creek. He was 78.A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Flintoft’s Issaquah Funeral Home, 540 E. Sunset Way.

Mr. Tibbetts was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Auburn, the son of Irving and Marguerite Tibbetts. He was raised in Issaquah and graduated from Issaquah High School. 

He married S. Marie Watson on Aug. 31, 1950, in Issaquah. They lived in Issaquah until 1990, when they moved to North Bend.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed hobby crafts, such as building and flying radio-controlled airplanes, and working with his hands. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his daughters, Alaine Marie Tibbetts, of Redmond, Cynthia Anne Kew, of Marysville; son Richard Earl Tibbetts, of Mill Creek; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
