Good job Chandler. We never know who we save with our words but we someone is listening and it will make a difference to them. SPIN has been seeking state and federal regulations to require one of the many technologies designed to prevent prop strikes. We hoped the state of Washington would support these technologies in their boating laws. If the families of victims could make an appeal to the legislature, perhaps your words would be heard one more time. There are others to speak with you (1) the family of 21 year old Olga Davydenko (2) the family of 25 year old Mathew Jordan (3) 12 year old Aneliese Jonez (4) an unnamed 14 year old (5) the 7 year old son of a church camp director (6) 16 year old Akiko Fujita (7) 16 year old Will Guyman - and more all from the state of Washington. Someone needs to organize these voices to make a difference to safe recreational boating requirements both in the state and in the nation.
