HB 2331 changes the fee from $10 to $30 for the document recording surcharge collected by county auditors under the Homeless Housing and Assistance Act of 2005. The bill passed the House by a vote of 51-44 and is before the Senate Ways & Means Committee for further consideration.

SHB 2339 directs the Department of Licensing to collect a $5 donation for the state park system from all vehicle owners during vehicle registration renewals coming due after Sept. 1; unless the vehicle owner indicates that he or she intends not to participate in the donation program. The bill passed the House 56-42 and is before the Senate for further consideration.
