A glory of a fourth

Charlie Lydum, 2 (at left), sings ‘God Bless America’ as he rides his tricycle, before the start of the Fourth of July parade. Below, Jay Ellis, 11, devours a blueberry pie at the final event at Issaquah’s Heritage Festival. Although Ellis narrowly lost, he was the messiest. See a slideshow of the Valentine Performing Pigs, who were at the festival and have been on ‘The Tonight Show,’ at www.issaquahpress.com.

Oh my gosh this is the cutest picture ever! Was he really singing “God Bless America” as he rode his tricycle? That’s just tooo precious. His parents must be proud.
That number on his chest says 82….but in my book, this photo is a “perfect 10!”

Got something to say?
