Megan Alexander and Zach Parker, both of Seattle, announce their engagement. The couple plans a Sept. 12, 2009, wedding at the Plateau Club in Sammamish.The bride to be, the daughter of George and Shelly Alexander, of Long Beach, Wash., is a 2003 graduate of Ilwaco High School. She graduated from Washington State University in 2007 with a degree in Spanish/international business. She is taking graduate classes at WSU.
The future groom, the son of Jedd and Shawn Parker, of Sammamish, is a 2002 graduate of Skyline High School. He earned a degree in international business in 2007 from Western Washington University. He works at Amazon.com in business development.
