Lois Ann Bergman, of Issaquah, died July 5, 2009, in Bellevue.A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. July 25 at Evergreen Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle.

Lois was born on Oct 3, 1917, in Seattle, to Ralph and Ester Bowers. She was raised in West Seattle and graduated from West Seattle High School.

Lois was very independent and lived alone in Issaquah for 27 years. She loved to care for her cat Tina and dog Maury. You might remember Lois in her red bomber scooter traveling around downtown Issaquah with her dog.

Lois will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother with a dry sense of humor.

Lois is survived by daughters Patricia (and her husband Milton) Jones and Nancy Jenkins; son Larry (and his wife Beverlee) McClanahan; sister Sarah Johnson; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

The family suggests remembrances to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 530 Dexter Ave., N., Suite 300, Seattle WA 98109.
