Tom Doyle, of Issaquah, died at Swedish Hospital on Saturday, July 18, 2009. He was 67.A memorial service will be held at Fort Snelling in Minnesota.
Tom was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Virginia, Minn., and was the son of Helen and Charles Doyle. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1960 in Virginia, Minn. He served with the United States Air Force from November 1960 to August 1964 as an electronics airman.
After the Air Force, Tom moved to Minneapolis to enroll at the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in business/accounting in 1967. At UM, he met and then married his wife, Muriel McConnell, in March 1968. After graduation, he was employed by IBM in New York and later became a partner at Touche, Ross in Minneapolis. Tom relocated to Issaquah in 1998 to become a Web developer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Doyle in 1977 and Helen Kassa in 1988. Survivors include Muriel Doyle, Tom’s wife; daughter Kimberly Baruh, of San Diego; son Michael Doyle, of Chicago; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances to the American Lung Association.
