Sammamish student graduates from WSU

Sarah Ducharme, of Sammamish, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, with an emphasis in public relations and a second major in sociology.Ducharme, the daughter of Sue and Richard Ducharme, of Sammamish, is a member of Alpha Kappa Delta honor society and plans to pursue a career in event planning.

Issaquah student graduates, named to Miami U. dean’s list

Priyanka Chandrasekaran, of Issaquah, graduated May 9 from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She earned Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering and science.

Chandrasekaran was also named to the Miami University dean’s list for second semester 2008-09. Miami University students must achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average.
