The nine remaining participants get ready to shuffle up and deal at the final table in the Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Fundraiser Aug. 26 at the Lake Sammamish Elks Lodge. The event, hosted by the Issaquah Sister Cities Commission and the American Moroccan International Exchange, raised $1,100 to bring two artists from Issaquah’s sister city Chefchaouen, Morocco, to Issaquah during Salmon Days. Christopher Wright won, Joe Podersek came in second, Dallas Cross in third, Sharyn Solum in fourth and Dave Neiderkrome in fifth. By Tina Eggers
