At 11 a.m. Nov. 11, the VFW Albert Larson Post No. 3436 will hold its annual Veterans Day Service at Veterans Memorial Field, at the monument between City Hall and the Issaquah Valley Senior Center. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Eagle Room at City Hall, 130 E. Sunset Way.A short service will honor all of the veterans who have served the United States and kept it safe for all to live in freedom. During the service, the VFW will present 11 new U.S. flags to the city of Issaquah to fly on all city flagpoles and remind residents of the sacrifices made by those who serve in the armed services.

At the conclusion of the service, the Issaquah High School Junior Naval ROTC Honor Guard will fire a 21-gun salute.
