Learn how to shape future growth at planning workshop

Shape how Issaquah grows and learn how to participate in the land-use process at a Cascade Land Conservancy workshop. The free Nov. 19 event will educate participants about how to become informed, organized and prepared to contribute in the decision-making process.
The workshop will be held at Eastside Fire & Rescue headquarters, 175 Newport Way N.W., from 6:30-9 p.m. Nov. 19. R.S.V.P. to Skye Schell at skyes@cascadeland.org or 206-905-6891; space is limited.
The interactive session will offer a brief overview of growth management goals, key players and the stages of planning. The session will connect citizens with tools, local case studies and area residents interested in long-range planning.
