Learn how to create habitat while reducing conflicts with wildlife. Register for a free, two-part Enhancing and Managing for Wildlife Habitat Workshop.

The workshops will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday in Issaquah and Carnation. The first workshop will be at Carnation Elementary, 4950 Tolt Ave., Carnation, and the second part will be held on private property in Issaquah.

Learn from experts on a number of topics, including how to create a wildlife plan for your property, create snags, bat ecology and install bat boxes, and enhance nesting habitat. Visit a local property to see wildlife features in place and in progress.

Register and learn more from Ginny Ballard, at ginny.ballard@kingcounty.gov or 206-205-3171. Pre-registration is required for both workshops.
