Kristen Rose Cornett, of Sammamish, married David Leslie Myrick, of Arlington, Wash., on Oct. 18, 2008, at the Blessed Sacrament, in Seattle.
The Rev. David Centner officiated. A reception followed at The Golf Club at Newcastle.The bride is the daughter of Skip and Peggy Cornett, of Issaquah. Her bridal attendants were Lindsey Akers, Kahryn Alexander, Renee Myrick, Caroline Thompson, Krystal Lowe and Kayla Lowber. The flower girl was Hanna O’Leary.
Kristen, a 2000 graduate of Skyline High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2005 from the University of Washington, and an associate degree in nursing in 2008 from Shoreline Community College. She works as a registered nurse in the medical and pediatric unit at Skagit Valley Hospital.
The groom is the son of Dale and Joan Myrick, of Arlington, Wash. His groomsmen were Zachary Schlagel, Daniel Meyering, Joshua Roehrich, Jacob Roehrich, Daniel Callan and Guy Russell. The ring bearer was Caleb Ashbrook.
David, a 2000 graduate of Arlington High School, earned an associate degree in 2007 in radiography from PIMA Medical Institute. He works as a radiologic technologist in the cardiac catheterization lab at Skagit Valley Hostpital.
The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.
