Shannon Cooper Mitchell
Shannon Cooper Mitchell, of Bremerton, died unexpectedly from a heart attack Oct. 26, 2009. He was 47.He was a professional surveyor and avid outdoorsman. He lived and worked in many places around the country including Issaquah, where he attended high school.
However, he had a special affection for Bend, Ore. As a first class skier and snowboarder, camper and fisherman, his passion for the Northwest was undaunted.
He was born Dec. 15, 1961, in Groton, Conn.
Shannon is survived by his father David L. Mitchell, mother Joan Ramage Mitchell, older brother Trevor L. Mitchell (Jessie), younger sister Barbara Pine Kluge (Rob), a nephew and a niece.
We, his family, have yet to decide when and where a memorial service will be held. To his many friends, there will always be a piece missing … he is here.
