Issaquah gymnasts leap past Skyline
Risa Fukuda captured all-around honors and the Issaquah HIgh School gymnastics won its second straight KingCo Conference meet Dec. 10 as the Eagles defeated rival Skyline 159.2-136.6 at Ballard High School.
Fukuda scored a 35.2 to take all-around honors. Skyline’s Amy Bearman was second at 32.0 and Issaquah’s Anna Fairhart was third at 29.5.
Fukuda took first place on the balance beam with a 8.9, first in the floor exercise with a 9.2 and first on the vault with a 8.9. Teammate Olivia Goree was first on the uneven parallel bars with a 8.25. Fukuda was second on the bars with a 8.2.
