The Skyline, Issaquah and Liberty high school boys basketball teams all posted victories Jan. 5, the first time this season that all three Issaquah School District teams won on the same night.

Skyline remained tied for first place in the 4A KingCo Conference Crest Division with a 54-53 victory against visiting Lake Washington. Cory Hutsen led Skyline with 16 points. Kasen Williams tossed in 14 points and Connor Gacek added 12 as the Spartans went to 3-1 in league play and 7-1 on the season.

Skyline is tied with Garfield for the division lead.

Issaquah won its first league game of the season, defeating visiting Roosevelt 57-39. The Eagles trailed by eight points at halftime but exploded in the second half, outscoring Roosevelt 38-13. Nick Price paced Issaquah with 21 points. Joe Evans and Nik Landdeck each had 12 points for the Eagles, 1-4 in league and 4-5 on the season.

The victory was the second straight for Issaquah, which snapped a five-game losing streak last Saturday with a nonleague victory against Olympic.

Liberty won on the road, beating Washington 55-52 in a nonleague contest. Chandler Jenkins topped the Patriots with 16 points.

The victory was the second of the season for Liberty.
