The Issaquah Press wants to connect with Issaquah and Eastside residents with links to Haiti, as well as relief groups, nonprofits and churches and other faith-based organizations involved in disaster response.
Readers with family and friends in Haiti, and organizations working to alleviate suffering in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake, can contact Kathleen R. Merrill, editor of The Press, at editor@isspress.com, leave a comment below or contact us via Twitter, with information about the quake and the humanitarian response. The temblor struck Tuesday in the impoverished Caribbean nation.
Want to help quake victims? Donate $10 to the American Red Cross by texting “Haiti” to 90999. The amount will be added to your next phone bill.
