Cascade Bank raises $75,000 for United WayThe Issaquah branch was one of 22 under Cascade Bank’s Puget Sound umbrella to help raise more than $75,000 to benefit United Way of Snohomish County.
The majority of Cascade’s donations came from employee payroll deductions, but additional funds were also collected during internal fundraising efforts including bake sales, an employee garage sale and raffles. In addition, employees volunteered during the United Way’s Day of Caring at three non-profit organizations in Skagit, Snohomish and King Counties, sorting and organizing goods at Food Lifeline in Shoreline and painting and helping with landscaping efforts at The Landing in Sedro-Woolley and at Sherwood Community Services in Lake Stevens.
