Equestrian
Riding lessons – The Red Gate Farm in Sammamish offers year-round riding lessons for ages 6-18. Call 392-0111.
Swimming
Lessons – Issaquah Parks offers swimming lessons on Monday and Wednesday at Boehm Pool. Session 4 has already started. Call 837-3350.
Fencing
Lessons – The Washington Fencing Academy offers fencing lessons for youth, beginning and intermediate groups at Clark Elementary School. Register at www.issaquahparks.net or call 837-3300. Pre-competition and open fencing lessons for fencers 13-and-up are also offered.
Karate
Lessons – Issaquah Parks has sessions in beginning and continued karate. Classes are for youth 6-12 and are held Thursdays at the Issaquah Community Center. Beginning classes are 5:15-6 p.m., continued 6-6:45 p.m. The Washington Shotokan Association provides the instruction. Call 837-3300.
Soccer
Youth league – Registration for the Issaquah Parks boys and girls soccer league has started and will continue through February. The program is for youngsters kindergarten through the sixth grade. Call 837-3346.
