But how many kokanee can survive on just the food in the middle 1/3 of lake Sammamish? I don't know! Folks move to the NW for the quality of life, and then complain when they have to make any sacrifice to help maintain that quality. The fact is there were 10's of thousands of these fish, and now we are down to 100's! The causes are many, but poorly regulated growth is certainly a factor. A listing will force enforcement of laws already on the books and help us work to save "our little red fish!"
