Health & Safety Fair comes to Issaquah on March 13

The sixth annual Issaquah/Sammamish Health & Safety Fair will be from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. March 13 at Pickering Barn. Vendor space for health care professionals is still available.

Free health screenings will be offered for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, blood typing, posture and intra-oral cancer. Free chair massages and Chinese pulse diagnosis will also be available.Issaquah Citizen Corps and Eastside Fire & Rescue will be at the fair to offer emergency preparedness information.

About 1,500 people attended last year’s fair to take advantage of free health screenings and the opportunity to meet with between 30 and 50 health care providers, all under one roof. Medical clinics, pharmacies, home health care, health insurance, chiropractors, assisted living facilities, surgical centers, a nursing home and Planned Parenthood will all be represented.

The fair is sponsored by Overlake Hospital and the city of Issaquah. Admission is free.
