Wine and dine with us at Taste Washington
March 23, 2010
Reporters Warren Kagarise and Chantelle Lusebrink will wine and dine through Taste Washington, a weekend-long celebration of Evergreen State food and wine.
Follow them on Twitter @wkagarise and @clusebrink for updates from tastings, seminars and — the main event — the Grand Tasting, a March 28 bacchanal featuring pours from more than 200 Washington wineries and noshables from about 75 local restaurants.
The reporters — both food and wine lovers — will also check out a local vintner at the three-day event, Rock Meadow Cellars, a Sammamish winery.
Join the reporters at seminars — where the speakers include Seattle culinary legend Tom Douglas, past “Top Chef” winner Stephanie Izard, leading wine journalists and celebrated Washington winemakers — and slip into exclusive areas open only to hospitality and media professionals.
Washington Wine Commission presents the Seattle event. The event starts March 26 with the Washington Wine Restaurant Awards at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle, and then moves to Bell Harbor International Conference Center for the March 27 seminars. The weekend concludes with the Grand Tasting, held at Qwest Field Event Center.
