What retail business or restaurant would you most like to see open in Issaquah?
A high-end clothing store and a movie theater that specializes in showing art films. We have most everything else we need.
— Barbara Extract, Issaquah
How about where they would be located — instead of all around town, why not in one central covered location so we wouldn’t have to drive all over the place?
— Bryan Weinstein, Issaquah
Bring back the Tiger Mountain Grill! I miss the food, ambiance and wildlife viewing along Issaquah Creek.
— Geoff Carson, Issaquah
The Container Store, Crate and Barrel, ExOfficio, J.C. Penney (or, e.g., Macy’s), Old Country Buffet.
— Michael Powell, Issaquah
A retail business, like Four Brothers, would be a great addition to the community.
— Don Burnett, Issaquah
The restaurant I would want most in Issaquah is for Sweet Addition to reopen. I miss their lunches and desserts so much!
— Barbara deMichele
It would be awesome to have a small hardware store, like an Ace or True Value, on the south side of I-90. Crossing the freeway on the weekends and then wandering through the home-improvement stores takes too long when you really just need a particular widget or whatsit to finish a repair job or other project.
— Curtis Repp, Issaquah
Somewhere in (or near) Issaquah, a golf driving range should be able to succeed.
Hank Thomas, Issaquah
I would love to see an Arby’s here. We’ve got most of the other fast food chains, why not Arby’s? I know my husband and I would be repeat customers. I’d also like to see a Macy’s here. It’s a hassle to drive into Bellevue or Redmond.
Michele Forkner, Issaquah

We need a good general store like the old Ben Franklin (thank you Eilene for the good years and hiring lots of our Issaquah folks, especially youth) and return of a hardware/sporting goods store like we used to have.
