Forget apples for teachers.
Chipotle Mexican Grill will mark national Teacher Appreciation Day by offering BOGO burritos — buy-one-get-one free — to local educators and school staffers.
In order to receive a second order for free, school faculty and staffers must present school identification and buy a burrito, burrito bowl, salad or tacos. The teacher-appreciation event runs from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Only elementary, middle and high school faculty members and staffers can cash in on the deal.
The offer will be available at the Issaquah restaurant, 775 N.W. Gilman Blvd, and at any Seattle-area Chipotle. Find a list of restaurants here.
