Join other young professionals Thursday at the Issaquah Brewhouse, and help start a community service club from scratch.
The fledging Young Professionals Club — a spin-off of the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah — will meet to discuss service opportunities. Members will also set up future meeting dates and venues.
Members will gather from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the downtown Issaquah pub, 35 W. Sunset Way.
Despite the name, membership extends beyond the usual 20- and 30somethings. The club accepts “anyone who feels young at heart who wants to meaningfully connect with peers while sharing their talents to better the Issaquah community,” a release from the group states.
