Crews expect to complete the last pieces of the Southeast 43rd Way and East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast roundabout soon.
The remaining work includes the installation of the last section of extruded curb, permanent pavement markings and landscaping. Officials said lane closures will be required for the work, but crews will avoid work during peak commute times.
Inclement weather delayed final paving the roundabout from late March until mid-April. Workers completed initial paving for the project Nov. 17 and the roundabout opened the next day.
Crews planned to construct the roundabout in mid- to late-summer, but unforeseen utility work and weather conditions extended the construction schedule.
