Issaquah small-business owners wondering, “Why should I care about Twitter?” or “Isn’t Facebook just a fad?” should bring their questions to a social-media forum set up to answer those questions.

The free forum — organized by Swedish Medical Center, local entrepreneur Chris Pirillo and The Issaquah Press — will address the possibilities created by the social-media revolution, and help entrepreneurs harness the power of Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter and YouTube to improve their businesses.

Swedish will host the event at its Issaquah campus, 2005 N.W. Sammamish Road. The event runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday. Attendees should register for the event here.

“Social Media Answers to Your Small Business Questions” will be geared toward Seattle-area small business owners, but anyone can attend the event. Swedish will provide free finger foods and beverages for attendees. Attendees will receive free copies of Pirillo’s “Top 140 Twitter Tips” and “Top 50 YouTube Tips.”
