You can help put sip. at the wine bar and restaurant on the map for its good deeds.

The eatery’s Issaquah Highlands location, a part of the Washington Restaurant Group, has been selected to represent Washington in the 2010 Restaurant Neighbor Award. In order to advance to the national competition, the restaurant needs your vote by noon Monday. Vote here.

Each year, restaurants throughout the nation compete for the award, which is given to restaurants that contribute to their communities through charitable work.

Washington Restaurant Group owner Lane Scelzi has committed his three Melting Pot restaurants and two sip. at the wine bar and restaurant locations to raising money for Camp Korey in Carnation. The getaway provides free stays for children ages battling serious illnesses. Scelzi became involved with the summer camp after a visit.

Since October, restaurant group executives, chefs, servers and managers have raised more than $10,000 for the camp by sponsoring fundraisers at their restaurants, and raising awarness in their newsletters. They also host an annual Christmas party and special dinner events to raise money for Camp Korey.

If the company wins, the restaurant group will represent Washington in the national competition, and could win up to $5,000.
