Norma Marie Bradeen, of Issaquah, died July 12, 2010, at Ideal Adult Family Home. She was 90.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Issaquah.Norma was born May 1, 1920, in Norwalk, Conn., to Guy and Santa Guerriere. She was raised in White Plains, N.Y., and graduated from Eastchester High School, in Tuckahoe, N.Y., in 1937.
She lived in the state of New York until she married Donald O. Bradeen on July 1, 1953, and then moved to Seattle. The family moved to Issaquah in 1959 and they built the first house in Mountain Park Estates.
Norma loved to spend time with family, travel and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Carroll (husband Gary); her son Orrin Guy Bradeen (wife Dixie); daughter-in-law Kandy Bradeen; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1984, and her son Thomas in 2005.
Memorial donations can be made to Northwest Harvest.
Arrangements are being handled by Barton Family Funeral Service in Kirkland.
