Equestrian

Riding lessons – The Red Gate Farm in Sammamish offers year-round riding lessons for ages 6-18. Call 392-0111.

Baseball

The Spartan Baseball Club, of Sammamish, will hold tryouts for its Sandy Koufax 14-and-under team for the 2011 season July 31 and Aug. 1 at Pacific Cascade Middle School. Players can register for the tryouts at www.sammamishbaseballclub.org. Call Jim Hedberg at 281-1158.

Fencing

Lessons – The Washington Fencing Academy offers fencing lessons for youth, beginning and intermediate groups at Clark Elementary School. New sessions starting soon. Register at www.issaquahparks.net or call 837-3300. Pre-competition and open fencing lessons for fencers 13-and-up are also offered.

Tennis
