Plan ahead for more overnight lane closures as crews continue to stripe state Route 900.

Drivers can expect single-lane closures on eastbound and westbound state Route 900 from 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. through Friday.

The striping marks the end of a yearslong effort to widen the important arterial route through Issaquah. Construction on the $33.9 million state Department of Transportation project started in August 2008.

Crews widened the road from Newport Way Northwest to the vicinity of Northwest Talus Drive and Southeast 82nd Street. The transportation agency opened almost a mile of widened lanes between 82nd Street and Newport Way in April.
