Trim the fat
A bottle of bacon-flavored vodka, jewelry, purses and a Kindle were stolen from a residence in the 19300 block of Southeast 24th Way prior to Aug. 6. The estimated loss is $4,700.
Bad medicine
Prescription medication, a passport, DVD player and other items were stolen from a residence in the 2400 block of East Lake Sammamish Place Southeast prior to Aug. 9. The estimated loss is unknown.
Dirty words
Police discovered graffiti near Southeast 26th Place and 234th Place Southeast on Aug. 9. This graffiti included representations of male genitalia and a face with words referencing the female genitalia, plus the phrases, “I’m Rick Jones,” “Don’t talk about fight club” and “Pin it to win it.” The cost to remove the graffiti is unknown.
Sneak past
A Sammamish man said his credit card information was used to purchase shoes at a Foot Locker on Aug. 9. The estimated loss is $475.
Drive-by stoning
Vandals threw a rock and damaged the windshield of a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Issaquah High School student near the corner of Southeast 48th Street and Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Southeast at about 8:15 p.m. Aug. 9. The driver said a backseat passenger in a silver SUV pitched the rock. The estimated loss is unknown.
Scraped
A vehicle parked in the 18300 block of Southeast Newport Way was keyed prior to 1:41 p.m. Aug. 11. The estimated loss is unknown.
Frenemies
Police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Front Street South at 4:09 p.m. Aug. 11. The officer discovered a woman who had argued with friends and wanted a ride home to Mill Creek. Police transported her to a transit center.
Shoplift us up
Police arrested a 26-year-old Fall City woman for attempting to steal items at Fred Meyer, 6100 E. Lake Sammamish Parkway S.E., at 4:11 p.m. Aug. 11. The store recovered items worth $17.50.
Spooked
Police responded to a report of a person locked inside Issaquah Hillside Cemetery in the 300 block of West Sunset Way at 8:09 p.m. Aug. 11. Police unlocked the gate for the person to leave.
Fried
Police responded to reported harassment in the 700 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard at 10:19 p.m. Aug. 11. A woman said a woman she did not know approached her at Jack in the Box, 740 N.W. Gilman Blvd., and accused her of following her.
Party all the time
Police responded to a noise complaint in the 23200 block of Southeast Black Nugget Road at 4:21 a.m. Aug. 12. The caller said someone had been playing loud music since 11 p.m. The officer contacted the man responsible for the music; he agreed to turn down the volume.
Keep on truckin’
A caller in the 600 block of Mount Fury Circle Southwest reported a late-model, white truck with rust driving around the neighborhood prior to 11:12 a.m. Aug. 12.
Spotless record
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at a vacant residence in the 23300 block of Southeast Black Nugget Road at 2:07 p.m. Aug. 12. The women inside the residence told police they had been hired by a real estate agent to clean.
Arrest
Police arrested a 29-year-old North Bend man for inhaling toxic fumes in the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast at 6:04 p.m. Aug. 12.
Showoff
Police responded to a report of a person brandishing a weapon in the 6100 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast at 9:46 p.m. Aug. 12.
Order up
Vandals egged a house in the 24000 block of Southeast 10th Street and spread ketchup in the driveway prior to Aug. 13. The estimated damage is unknown.
Assault
Police arrested a 30-year-old Issaquah resident for assault in the 300 block of Shangri-la Way Northwest at 11 a.m. Aug. 13.
Bad dog
Police responded to the neighborhood near Mount Olympus Drive Northwest and Mount Pilchuck Avenue Northwest after the caller saw a person dragging a dog by the collar at 3:11 p.m. Aug. 13. The owner told police the dog had escaped from the garage.
Short stack
Police arrested a 41-year-old Redding, Calif., man for indecent exposure and assault after he exposed himself and touched a waitress at IHOP, 1433 N.W. Sammamish Road, at 4:03 p.m. Aug. 13.
Credit crisis
A woman in the 100 block of Northwest Alder Place said her credit card information had been used without authorization prior to 4:16 p.m. Aug. 13. The estimated loss is unknown.
Dunked
Police responded to a noise complaint in the 4200 block of 192nd Lane Southeast at 11:11 p.m. Aug. 13. People at the scene had been playing basketball in a pool. Police warned them about the noise.
Withdrawn
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity near Interstate 90 and Highlands Drive Northeast at 11:33 p.m. Aug. 13. The caller reported a woman going through the trash at a bank. Police checked the bank, plus other banks in the area, but could not locate the woman.
Arrest
Police arrested a 38-year-old Issaquah resident on a possession of drug paraphernalia warrant along East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast at 4:48 a.m. Aug. 14.
Harassment
Police received a report of harassment in the 4200 block of 192nd Lane Southeast at 12:38 p.m. Aug. 14. The caller reported phone calls to a victim in violation of a no-contact order.
Retail roulette
Police arrested a 36-year-old Issaquah man after he tried to shoplift clothing from Costco, 1801 10th Ave. N.W., at 6:02 p.m. Aug. 14. The store recovered items worth $155.99.
Do not pass go
Police said a Sammamish woman might be the victim of a scam, after she bailed her son out of jail Aug. 14. She posted bail through a Vancouver, Wash., company, and then received a call at about 7:30 a.m. The caller identified himself or herself as a bond agent, and said the son had additional warrants and needed another $500 to be released. The caller instructed her to wire money to a Western Union office in Sacramento, Calif. She wired the money, but then became suspicious. She called the bond company, but the employee said it had no connection to Sacramento. She also discovered her son did not have any additional warrants. The estimated loss is $500.
Shattered
The driver’s side mirror on a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of 10th Avenue Northwest was damaged prior to 3:25 p.m. Aug. 14. The estimated loss is unknown.
Soaked
Police responded to a noise complaint in the 2400 block of Northeast Davis Loop at 9:16 p.m. Aug. 14. The caller said his neighbor was running a water feature in violation of Issaquah Highlands Community Association rules.
Sunk
A boat cover was damaged in the 2000 block of Northwest Poplar Way prior to 10:05 a.m. Aug. 15. The estimated loss is $1,000.
Assault
Police arrested a 64-year-old Issaquah man for assault after a domestic violence incident in the 1900 block of Juneberry Court Northeast at 9:50 a.m. Aug. 15.
Driving under the influence
Police arrested a 55-year-old Seattle woman, Deborah K. Wright, for driving under the influence along Northeast High Street at 10:49 p.m. Aug. 15. Police recorded her blood-alcohol level at .09 percent. The legal limit is .08 percent.
