More than 2,000 participants from around the region are expected to participate in the 34th annual Issaquah Run at Salmon Days Oct. 3.

Issaquah Run, produced by the Issaquah Rotary Club, is partnering with the Issaquah Schools Foundation to promote healthy minds and bodies among youths. The foundation is a community-based, nonprofit organization that raises money to help bridge the gap between state dollars and additional funding the district needs.

Since its inception in 1987, the foundation has contributed more than $4 million to programs and initiatives that benefit Issaquah district schools and students. This year, proceeds from the Issaquah Run will go to the scholarship fund with a portion of each entry fee to benefit the foundation.

If you go

Registration is $5 for the 1K kids dash and $30 for adults entering the 5K and 10K run/walk or $20 for ages 15 and younger.
