Salmon Days Festival organizers seek floats both fishy and otherwise for the festival’s Grande Parade.

Groups must apply to be part of the parade by Thursday. The application does not guarantee acceptance into the parade; organizers review each application for entertainment value.

Find the application form here.

The parade kicks off the festival at 10 a.m. Oct. 2. Salmon Days returns for a 41st season Oct. 2-3.

The festival offers awards to the floats for the best entry depicting Salmon Days, the best float by a business or commercial organization, the most unique float, the most humorous float and more.

Mail applications to Issaquah Salmon Days Festival, 155 N.W. Gilman Blvd., Issaquah, WA 98027. Or fax applications to 392-8101. Call 392-0661 or e-mail info@salmondays.org to learn more.

230 yards of the absorbtion pavement =690 ‘.So you line up on the water absorbent pavement or up by the hill. When is Issaquah to take and pave over and install the high price pavement?Let me see i;ll do the math for U.First go to the city records and ask them to give you all the streets and add that all up.then we will do some dividing. So the cost of the 690 ‘ of pavement cost 1 million $ .Take that number into the all the streets divid it by the 690 and you will get the cost.lets say Issaquah has 6900,000 1000 times i million = 1 billion $ to pave the intire city.go walk it of i;m in the ballpark
