Puyallup Fair announces local winners
The following local residents were honored during competitions at the Puyallup Fair:
- Stephanie Busch, of Sammamish, was named to the Champion Intermediate Equine Judging County Team.
- Jaqueline Reeve, of Issaquah, placed seventh in the Intermediate Western Games Fit & Show.
- Lauren Molina, of Sammamish, was a reserve champion for the Senior Harness/Dressage/Fences Fit & Show.
- Haley Davies, of Renton, placed fifth in the Senior Saddle Seat Equitation.
- Michelle Fredrickson, of Issaquah, was a champion in the Senior Cavy Fit & Show.
- Margaret Edwards, of Issaquah, was a champion in the Intermediate Cavy Fit & Show.
- Katherine Miotke, of Issaquah, received Best of Breed: Coronet Cavy.
Issaquah Historical Society receives 4Culture grant
The Issaquah History Museums was one of 19 projects funded through 4Culture’s Heritage Collections program.
The organization received $3,550 for increasing collections information and accessibility.
4Culture’s program, totaling $52,500 this year, was inaugurated in 2008 to address critical needs for preservation of local heritage collections.
