Katie Hirshberg, of Issaquah, and Chris Moeller, of Renton, were married Aug. 21, 2010, at the bride’s family home in Issaquah.
Evan Wright, a good friend of the groom performed a wonderful and loving ceremony.
The wedding and the reception took place in the same yard around the pond. The Husky Band, a surprise gift to the bride and groom, came and played at the reception.
The bride is the daughter of Libby and Bill Hirshberg, of Issaquah. The groom is the son of Mike and Sue Moeller, of Renton.
Bridal attendants were Kristen Nelson, Dana Elsner, Trina Book, Jamie Kezner, Melissa Canedy, Corrine Stocks, Courtney Moeller and Elizabeth Bain. Groomsmen were Justin Heistand, Justin Graden, Greg Dimeling, Tim Hirshberg, Jeff Moeller and Chad Spellman. Ring bearers were Chase Koehler and Jessica Marmer.
The couple spent their first night in the tree house built by Bill Hirshberg and Fred Nystrom on the property.
The bride graduated from Liberty High School in 2000, and from Western Washington University in 2004 with a degree in recreation. She is employed by the city of Issaquah as a youth recreational leader.
The groom graduated from Liberty High School in 1999. He is an electrician at Jormac Electric.
